14th Congressional candidate, Mark Vargas brings experience and expertise with him on the campaign trail. While serving in Washington D.C. and as an economic advisor for the Department of Defense in Iraq, Vargas worked directly with Major General Carlos “Butch” Pair, US Army (Ret). The DoD team brought foreign investors and local business leaders together to significantly lower the unemployment rate in Iraq. Major General Pair has endorsed and will be appearing at the Mark Vargas for Congress announcement Thursday September 10th, at 6:30 PM, Judson University in Elgin, IL. Both the press and voters are welcome. The Mark Vargas for Congress campaign expects a few hundred supporters to join them for this announcement.
