Paul Ryan speaks with Katrina vanden Heuvel and Carlos Watson on MSNBC on health care July 29, 2009 - Paul Ryans Health Care Reform: A Plan Forward: http://www.house.gov/ryan/h... -
Since dems say that both Medicare and Medicaid are broken programs (created by them!) why would we trust them to create an even bigger monstrosity that will cost taxpayers TRILLION$ while making the system 10x worse?
It is clear that democraps want full control over life from start to finish. They are literally evil spirited people who believe they're God while denying the power thereof.

Health Care Solutions
The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates that ObamaCare will cost over $1 trillion. Notwithstanding President Obama's promise to oppose legislation "if that reform adds even one dime to our deficit over the next decade," the CBO estimates that recent House proposals will increase government spending by $1.04 trillion. Additionally, as for the Administration's most recent cost-savings plan - to create an independent advisory council to set Medicare fees - the CBO concluded that "the probability is high that no savings would be realized".
ObamaCare will dramatically reduce the choices you have over the cost and quality of your health insurance plan. Here's how:
- ObamaCare will create an artificial market called a Health Insurance Exchange. The mandates the Exchange imposes will reject plans that don't 'measure-up' to the federal government's expectations for health care plans. As a result, millions of Americans will be forced to abandon their current plans and to accept a plan that they do not want or need.
- Additionally, ObamaCare will create a board of bureaucrats empowered to define which health benefits are "essential". However, these "essential" benefits may exclude health care which most Americans and their doctors believe are essential - such as MRI scans and blood tests.
The bottom line: Under ObamaCare, Americans will face higher taxes and receive less take-home pay - all for a health insurance plan that forces them to pay for benefits they do not want and refuses to pay for procedures their doctor may recommend.
What can you do about this?
- Use the Action Pack http://actionpack.ncpa.org to sign the petition, to print the petition or to access our Learning/Teaching Tools about health care so that you can educate your friends, family and neighbors.

Reagan responds to Obama and his supporters
What a great man President Reagan was. May we take lessons from him and move the U.S.A. back to it's glory.
Funny how when President Reagan talks about a letter he read he tells you who it was from, not just some poor ole sole in wherever Mr. Obama comes up with.
I'm not sure but President Reagan does not look like he is using a teleprompter? Image that..

The Responsible Healthcare Reform Pledge
Read the article by clicking on the title and see if you can count all the Illinois legislators that have signed a Pledge to Read regarding the Health Care Bill. You won't need both hands, you don't need much. Just remember Illinois You Can Vote, and it is time to send a message to these prima donnas. Mr. Kirk most like would not sign such a pledge, he has already proven he will vote without reading even if the bill is not completely submitted.

Kirk announces Senate bid - Springfield, IL - The State Journal-Register
I understand that there is a movement to bring the Illinois Republican Party back to a party based on conservative commitments rather than 'media' appeasement. I believe to many Republican politicians have listened to the media and moved away from conservatism because they media walked them away from it. Watch the end of August - first of September.
The first order of business for an Illinois Conservative Republican party should be to advise Mr. Kirk he is not being endorsed and if he continues to run he would be on his own. If it comes down to Kirk running against Giannoulias the Democrats keep the seat no matter who wins, the real Democrat or the Democrat in disguise

When will the poor, immigrants (legal), and the minorities wake up and see the truth? They are...
When will the poor, immigrants (legal), and the minorities wake up and see the truth? They are, slow but sure. What is the truth?
They are starting to see what the government, especially the Democrats (Chicago and Cook County best examples) with Republican blessings have been doing to them. But just in case you are not sure of what they have been doing let me lay it out for you.
Immigrants from all around the world have been drawn to the USA for decades, drawn by a capitalist society where they can make a living for themselves and their family. It is (was) a country where the poor could come up with an idea, market it, sell it and become successful even rich. This was not only true about the immigrants from across the sea’s but for the great migration from the South. The African-American came to Chicago in search of a good lfe based on making an honest living and hopefully more.
Then enter the government. They provide a helping hand, or at least say they will. If you qualify the government will assist you with your housing, food, and health care. Sounds like a good deal, a little help until you can get on your feet, but.
You accept the help. Then as you start to get on your feet and think you can make a move up the ladder the government advises you that if you go up the ladder one more step you will lose the government aide that will put you five steps back down the ladder. You assess your options. You are okay where you are, would like to go up, but if you go up 1 step you will be forced back 5 so you would be 4 steps below where you are. That 1 step increase cannot cover the 4 steps backwards so what do you do? Most would stay relied on the government because they have told you that the companies and the world is against you, especially if you are a minority or an immigrant. Fear has always worked in the past.
If that was not bad enough, lets look at what the government, again Chicago and Cook County being the prime examples, have done to the successful America. They promote all the new programs and benefits that they are going to provide for the poor, ailing and the aged. They come up with a price tag and the tax payers, (in the past) have always opened their hearts and pocketbooks to finance these programs.
Once the government gets the funding, they find ways to displace the poor (projects in Chicago all but gone) reduce the need and redirect the money. The State is the best at this, if you have ever seen any money go from a Special Fund (Lottery money only for education, was how Illinois bought that one) and then re-direct it to General Revenue Fund you can kiss it good bye. So then what do they do.
In the case of Chicago you scrap some item from the “rich” remove Mig’s Field, sell the Sky Way (which will produce billions) and sell the parking meters. Then say how they are broke.
So they have reduced programs by reducing the number of poor pushing them out of the area, eliminate perks for a few, sold public property which brings in revenue and then tell you they are broke. Problem is people have been watching how they spend money on perks, and increase values in their lives while taking it from the real workers and depriving it from those who want to advance their lives.
Years ago I read a very good book on how this is set up it is titled: There Are No Children Here by Alex Kotlowitz. It is sad, very sad what the welfare system has done to America. It had good intentions but once politicians found out that they can use it to gain votes and gain personal glory and financial gain they went totally rotten. And then blame the odor on the poor and the rich but not on this elite group called politician.
Bad news, they have almost destroyed America. Good news - people, poor, rich, immigrant, and citizens are waking up and realizing the odor is in the halls and domes of the elected.
If you are an elected official and you feel threatened by this type of talk good your days are numbered (do you hear that GOP Moderates). If you are an elected official and this disturbs you, but not to fear, good! Good because you might not be one at the root of this type of treason on America and you can begin to undo the mess and right things.
America can still be the county where dreams become real. America please realize controlled socialism is what has brought us to where we are, unleashed socialism will take us to where Russia and Cuba are.
We are, and will be, the land of the brave, land where dreams are realized and most of all The Land of the Free.

Is this more corrupt Obama Illinois Politics?
This is the first time I have heard this man, and the first time I have heard it put out there like this.
Interesting, to say the least. His web page: http://atlah.org/about/index.html
House, Senate approve state budget | Clout Street - local political coverage
“"We're doing this because we have to do it, but it's wrong that we have to do it," said Senate President John Cullerton of the budget package, vowing an income-tax hike vote in January.” Mr. Cullerton if it is wrong why are you, the Senate President allowing it to happen? Leadership at its finest.
“The delay in enacting a state budget was a result of a test of wills between rookie Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn and the two veteran Chicago Democratic leaders of the legislature, House Speaker Michael Madigan and Senate President John Cullerton.” It is time to to take the control of the State back from Chicago and Cook County. They have had control of the State way to long and spent all the money in Cook and Chicago. Cook and Chicago should be the biggest providers for the State but they are the biggest abusers of power and money. You can vote.
“A tax-hike vote, assuming one still takes place, would be put off until late fall. That's when legislators will know if they face strong opposition.” This is because they are afraid to stand on their principles, if they have any. They will spend, spend, spend and tax, tax, tax when they think the voters will not notice, or remember until the next election. You can vote.
“State lawmakers also would have to take a dozen unpaid days off.” With no perks? Correct? How many days do the actually work?
“"Essentially by doing this, we have made him the king of Illinois," Sen. Donne Trotter (D-Chicago) said of giving Quinn emergency power to trim state spending.” I repeat, it is time to take the royalty out of Cook and Chicago. You can vote.
“But Rep. Jack Franks (D-Marengo) said the move meant lawmakers are playing politics and the action meant state officials are "going to borrow ourselves into oblivion."
"We're on the brink of a man-made disaster," Franks said, adding: "This is nothing more than smoke and mirrors....It's irresponsible and it's reckless."” Thank you Mr Franks for speaking the truth. Thanks.
Now the Legislators in Illinois, including Mr. Cullerton, Mr. Madigan and the rest of the Cook - Chicago cronies, need to work on next years budget, and the year after that and the year after that. It is time that you start passing bills that will reduce the deficit, reduce needles spending, pull back the reign on the money for the programs that do nothing but allow your friends to have meeting in $1,000 and $10,000 suites pretending to advance society.
It is time the government, in Illinois especially, took on the role of government and not the entitled, elitist thieves that they have become. Career politicians need to be a thing of the past. Career civil servants, yes, that I can live with. Senate President Jones knew what is coming and it is a storm that will clean the house and the senate.
“In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.”
[Thomas Jefferson]
“Never spend your money before you have it.”
[Thomas Jefferson]
“The ballot is stronger than the bullet.”
[Abraham Lincoln]
And we will be voting.

545 People by Charlie Reese
Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years. Charlie Reese is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.
545 PEOPLE
By Charlie ReesePoliticians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits? Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget, the President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations, the House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred Senators, 435 Congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices, 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.
Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly back to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ .
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to:. bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish;. to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject;. to regulators, to whom they give power to regulate and from whom they can take away this power.
Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they took an oath to do. Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses -- us!
Provided voters have the gumption to manage their own employees, we should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess! What you do with this article now that you have read it is entirely up to you, though you have several choices:
1. You can send this to everyone in your address book and hope "they" do something about it.
2. You can agree to "vote against" everyone that is currently in office, knowing that the process will take several years and ask your representative to vote in TERM LIMITS.
3. You can decide to "run for office" yourself and agree to do the job properly.
4. Lastly, you can sit back and do nothing or re-elect the current bunch of selfish professional politicians.
It is our choice.

CNSNews.com - Democratic Leader Laughs at Idea That House Members Would Actually Read Health-Care Bill Before Voting On It
Any one who votes for a bill without being able to read it must be voted out of office. They do not have your best interest at heart. And if they laugh at the idea of reading it - they got to go.
The House signed a bill, Cap and Trade, that was not completely proposed. Kirk, Illinois will not forget.
If your child came home said they bought a new car and it was a great deal - the dealer included an iPhone and the loan was only $200 a month for 20 years. Would you be happy? Then your child says And did not have the contract that they signed, because the dealer was adding stuff to it. Would you happy? Or would you be on your way to the dealer?
They got 2 go!
They need to be voted out. Don't forget!!! We tend to have very short memories when it comes to politics. We tend to fall for new promises and forget past actions. It is time to not forget!

State Employees need to ...
Click on title of blog to read the article - Quinn rejects budget, layoff notices go out - Springfield, IL - The State Journal-Register
State Employees need to make sure that the contractors non-State employees are gone before allowing any layoffs to effect State Employees.
The unions may argue that “they are union members too.” But that is how the departments become non-State departments (in non-political non-union language privatization). The unions AFSCME & SEIU don’t like that word because they claim to fight against it, while allowing it in the backdoor as long as their employees join.
So don’t allow the contracts to stay and do your job. AFSCME and SEIU need to step up to the plate and protect State Employees first.

A Garden of Piggish Delights by Stephen Spruiell & Kevin Williamson on National Review Online
If you ever wanted to know how bureaucracies are formed here is the best example ever. (bureaucracies defined - a system of government in which most of the important decisions are made by state officials rather than by elected representatives. Excessively complicated administrative procedure, seen as characteristic of such a system : the unnecessary bureaucracy government.)

Cut 2500 State positions even if he gets the budget he wants.
Why does the State fund the personal service of people. Could it be that they have friends and cronies running them, invested in them, owned by them and they in turn get donations, kickbacks, votes and other support from them?
Why does Quinn and the State of Illinois feel it needs to pay for every service and then in turn threaten to cut the budget on the back of the State employees that are providing safety to the citizens of Illinois. If the cuts in the public safety fields, State Police & Corrections like he is claiming he will need there will be an increase in criminal activity on the street and in the prisons.
The safety & well-being of the citizens of Illinois and staff will be jeopardized. The prisons in Illinois are already understaffed. The staff are mandated to work double shifts. With additional cuts the staff will be forced (prisons must be manned) to work more shifts causing illness and fatigue. Staff in a fatigued state in a prison is very dangerous both for the staff and the inmates. The inmates that are weak, do not belong to a gang, have desired property, will be harmed physically, sexually, emotionally and financially. And the truth being told when the staffing is reduced the same dangers are placed on staff with physical danger becoming a daily reality.
I don’t know about you but I would not like going to work every day worried if I was going to get assaulted, raped, or killed doing my job.
So I have to ask one more time, why do we fund organizations like Planned Parenthood and fail to fund safety in the State?

When will the auction begin?
So when will the auctions begin? I know the White House and all other levels of government, including Illinois will soon be auctioning off all the limousines, luxury cars, SUVs and aircraft in their fleets.
I want to be included in the list of people on the bid list. I would like to get a stretch limo or escalade for a good price. I would really like to get one of the vehicles that Al Gore has used.
See I know that these will go up for auction soon because our government officials are decent upstanding and concerned people. With Global Warming and now the big push to reduce carbon they will be downsizing from the limousines, luxury cars, SUVs and huge polluting aircraft to the Chevy Aveo (Government Motors) and smaller SUVs and glider planes.
I know these politicians will step up to the plate and lead by example. After all social conscientiousness comes before personal needs and wants. Correct?
Actually it is hard to use the word conscientiousness and politician in the same paragraph, especially with the leaders in Illinois.
conscientious |ˌkän ch ēˈen ch əs|
adjective
(of a person) wishing to do what is right, esp. to do one's work or duty well and thoroughly : a conscientious and hardworking clerk.
• (of work or a person's manner) showing such an attitude : a conscientious and purposeful look on her face.
• relating to a person's conscience : the act does not provide exemption from service on the basis of personal conscientious beliefs.
However, the last statement in the definition scares me. Because if they are truly working from ‘the basis of personal conscience beliefs’ I am totally afraid of their ‘inner feeling or voice’. If there is something inside driving them to believe that what they are doing is good, sound, and positive for society I am concerned about this feeling/voice and the origins of such. It is not good.
conscience |ˈkän ch əns|
noun
an inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one's behavior : he had a guilty conscience about his desires | Ben was suffering a pang of conscience.
